Better left in your head
Things you would have rather died
Than to have said

Like word-vomit
You just cant stop
Until you dry-heave
All the nasty, mean things expunged from you head
Your membrane
But you've caused pain
With your callousness
With your thorny truths
And hidden bad news
You told your best friend the dress made her look fat
And you told you brother he acts just like his mother
You told your teacher where to stick it
And the cop what to do with his lousy ticket
You told off the meter maid
And you gave your boss the finger when you didn't get paid
You told a secret you swore you'd never tell
And now you know
You're going to hell
And all because of the words left unsaid
All the words

its odd cause i wrote a book once with the same title.
its really good but you should try toadd more to the plain phrases like "you're going to hell" instead try using things like "Now you're descending into a fallen clemency while your head spins uncontrollably with remorse"
it kind of sounds like hell but your just saying it in a more creative way, you know what i'm saying?
anyway you did a good job over all.

lol. sorry if i was too critical.
anyway my book is a love story about two teenage kids who love each other but they keep ignoring the fact that they do because they don't think that the other one loves them back so they never tell each other how they feel. I never got to finishing it actually. I ran out of ideas then. I didn't know what should happen next. I usually do that when i right books, i just right whatever comes to my mind and when i'm all out of good ideas, i stop. which is really stupid, i know. But w/e i write for pleasure not for other people.
anyway keep up the good work!

Right now Im writing a story as well, called Immortal Sangre, and I've started a few others, so I know about starting and never finishing. ^_^ But you do make a good point, we do write for ourselves, so its all about how we feel about our stories and other such things!

I love writing though. its like everytime i write, all the pressure is lifted off my shoulders and i can breathe again. it just helps me let everything out. especially poetry. i love poetry. lol.
it's great to have a way to express urself.

I totally agree about writing helping to take the pressure off
Also, writing helps me get organized,
like the mess in my head gets all neat and orderly when I sit down in front of a keyboard, or with pencil and paper an just write.<3
